About World Clock & Meeting Planner

Plan meetings across time zones without arithmetic. Add cities to a world clock, see a 24-hour comparison grid shaded by working hours, find overlapping slots for every participant, convert a specific instant and export calendar-ready details.

What it does

How to use it

  1. Add the cities your participants are in.
  2. The live clock shows the current time everywhere at once.
  3. Read the overlap grid: darker cells are outside working hours for someone.
  4. Pick a slot that is green everywhere, then copy the meeting details for your invite.

Frequently asked questions

Does this handle daylight saving time?

Yes. It uses the browser's own IANA time-zone database through the Intl API, so a city switches automatically on the correct local date. That is why picking a city is better than typing a fixed UTC offset.

Why does a meeting land on a different date in another city?

Because the day boundary is crossed. The grid shows the local date under each column and marks the cells that fall on the previous or next day, which is where most scheduling errors come from.

What counts as working hours?

You set it, defaulting to 09:00 to 18:00 local. Cells inside that window are green, cells just outside are amber, and cells in the middle of the night are red.

Can I convert one specific instant instead?

Yes. The Convert section takes a date and time in any of the listed zones and shows the matching local time everywhere else, including the date shift.

Is India's half-hour offset handled correctly?

Yes. IST is UTC+05:30 and Nepal is UTC+05:45; both are handled by the Intl API. The grid shows half-hour steps when any selected zone needs them.

Is World Clock & Meeting Planner free?

Yes. World Clock & Meeting Planner is free for everyone and needs no sign-up to use. An account is only needed to export, download or print, because every export is recorded.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. World Clock & Meeting Planner works inside your web browser, so the files you open are processed on your own device. If you sign in, the work you save (such as drafts and registers) is also kept in your account so it follows you to other devices.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install.
